The Jade Teahouse is privately owned.

We have different operation hours to the Camellia gardens. If you get locked in the gardens please call the sutherland Shire Council.

How to book

Please give us a call to make any bookings, if we don’t pick up the phone feel free to leave a msg and we will call you back. We book out most days from 10am to 2pm and most people book at least two weeks in advance. As we are a small cafe we will always try our best to fit you in.

Christmas time - If you are thinking about visiting the teahouse in November or December, please book A.S.A.P. as we book out quickly.

We may close early due to extreme wether conditions such as heatwaves or flash floods.

Takeaway is served 1 hour before closing, this is due to people being locked in the gardens. Please do not climb the fence or climb the teahouse to get out of the gardens.

Our last booking time Monday to Friday is 1:30pm, Saturday & Sunday is 2:30pm. If we have a function in the afternoon and the teahouse is booked out, we do not take bookings.

We will offer you takeaway.

If you would like to dine in at the teahouse call and make a booking, we do book out most days from 10am to 2pm.

Deposit

We do not give refunds but can transfer to use on another date within 1 year.

If you book a table for 10 people or more it’s a $50 deposit. This will be removed when you are paying your final bill on the day.

We do not spit bills over 10 people.

Function booking $250 deposit, full account to be paid at the end of the function day.

When booking a high tea its a $10pp at the time of the booking. This deposit will be removed from your bill on the day when paying in full.

Any extra drinks or food will be charged to your bill.

In busy times we may run out of small coffee cups, so we will give you a large cup at not extra cost.

In busy times we do run out of small teapots, this serves two cups of tea.We may give you a large teapot that serves you 6 to 8 cups of tea to share. ( this is the only time we share teapots) We will inform you when making your tea order that we can replace your tea leaves when you ask & for extra hot water, that is not a problem at all, please just ask a staff member.

When placing a food order,it’s a transaction where you agree to pay for the items

If you have an issue with your order, please inform us on the spot so we can fix it for you.

We do not tolerate verbal abuse, in house or over the phone.

Mail service is not excepted onto teahouse premises.

Monday to Friday - 8:00am to 3:30pm ( last coffee call is at 3:25 pm) Garden area will be closed around the teahouse and top park area at 3:30pm.

Saturday & Sunday - 8am to 5pm ( last coffee call is at 4:30pm) Garden area will be closed around the teahouse and top park area at 4:45pm.
